TL-SG5428 MAC ACL
Hi,
i try to configure a MAC ACL on my TL-SG5428. Unfortunately the interface always states that the MAC i put in is invalid. No matter if i put it in with ":" or "-".
I even copied it from the address table.
Any ideas what i do wrong?
Thanks & Cheers!

There are MAC-addresses, which are invalid because of value, like multicast MACs, etc, so it is better to show, what exactly you want to configure.

Thanks for the quick response!
I want to create a MAC ACL for a specific port in order to only allow the device with MAC Address EC:71:DB:82:DE:4F.
I therefore try to setup a mac ACL with S-MAC EC:71:DB:82:DE:4F (tried EC-71-DB-82-DE-4F as well). but it does not accept the entry: The source MAC address you input is invalid, please input again.

Well, switch is old, so you do not have examples in UG. MAC seems OK for me. Try with no delimeters EC71DB82DE4F, try the cisco style ec71.db82.de4f try another random legit MAC, so you know, what is the exact problem.
