Region : UnitedStates
Model : TL-ER6120
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version : 1.0.2 Build 20120719 Rel.42888
ISP : FIOS
I have configured the PPTP but it seems to require a separate network.
It appears the when a client logs in they are not given an IP address on the same subnet and so some applications are not working.
The Cisco VPN routers reserve a range of IP's on the same subnet for PPTP.
Is there a way to do this on the 6120?
Regards,
Rich

By "see across the subnets" I mean "can a VPN computer detect and browse a LAN machine via windows network browser." NOT by typing the desired machine's IP into windows explorer.

Actually, I was about to try this in the router and found that it is identical to a route that I was already trying. I don't think it's achieving what I want because I can't see computers on the LAN from the VPN.
Another way to think of this is that if you switch the values for destination and next hop it should allow broadcasts in both directions. But, it doesn't, because when you try entering it like that it will tell you "Destination Network conflicts with the subnet of the Interface. Please enter another one."

The ASUS RT-N66U allows broadcast communication between VPN and LAN, as described on this page:

(Hint: use ctrl + F to find "broadcast support" described on the page.)

It was confirmed in thread
http://forum.tp-link.com/showthread.php?1402-Weird-problems-with-the-ER6120
that the VPN server was not creating a route between the VPN IP Pool and the LAN...
Still a problem in fw 1.06, saw another post from someone indicating still a problem in 1.07 as well.
Did adding the static route solve?
