I am using WHS2011. Every day at midnight my remote web access page is dropped and inaccessible. I go to my remote web settings on the server and it says router is not working. I choose repair and everything is reset. I did not have this problem with my other routers.

I have looked through all my settings and see no reason for this to happen. Anyone have a similar problem?

I am very new a learning this, so please bear with me.

I access my remote server site by browser. www.**.homeserver.com.

I have disabled WinhttpWebProxy, which after I did that I did not lose access for 1 day and then it was like before. The only thing that I have done differently when installing this new router is use a static IP address for my server.

After contacting tech support my issue has been resolved. I had to go in to DHCP Reservation and assign a static IP for my server and then go to NAT Virtual Server and forward the ports from there. I was doing everything from my server software instead through the router.

All is well!
