Model: TL-SG1016DE
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.0.1 Build 20180629 Rel.58355

Situation:

Serveral sites with two internetconnections. One with DHCP and another with PPPoE.
When firewall is connected directly to both modems (DSL and Cable), PPPoE for DSL works.

On one site, both modems are located on different location in the building. We only have one UTP cable from the Firewall to the DSL modem.
So, on both locations we have a TL-SG1016DE 3.0 and we configured VLANs on this single UTP cable.

Somehow, we can not get PPPeO over this VLAN. What could be the problem

The OfficeLan consists of two networks, VLAN10 and VLAN30.

VLAN30 is basic network with FW as DHCP.

WAN2 on FW is connected as Access VLAN 20. This is TAGGED through P1 from SW1 to SW2. There it is again Access VLAN 20 to LAN port DSL modem.

(normal would be WAN2 FW to LAN PPPoE port of DSL modem directly).

Anyone knows how to get DHCP/PPPoE from DSL modem to WAN2 Firewall? Can not get it to work.

@Bart31

Both port2 belong to VLAN20 and PVID needs to be 20 as well. Your firewall should be able to get PPPoE. Unless your PPPoE has some requirements for VLAN tag.
