Model: CPE610
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: N/A

Hi all,

according to FCC.io there were / are 3 distinct CPE610 models, namely:

01. 170909 / CPE610 - https://fccid.io/TE7CPE610

02. 180521 / CPE610v1 - https://fccid.io/TE7CPE610V1

03. 181018 / CPE610v2 - https://fccid.io/TE7CPE610V2

the interesting bit of info that I can't confirm is the exact power output of the first model, which according to the operating frequencies table at 5.745-5.825GHz [01] is a mere 41mW, whereas [02] and [03] at the same frequency range output 315mW and 292mW respectively. Could someone verify that this is NOT a typo? I tried cross-referencing the value to the RF Test Report NII, as well as other documents contained therein, but the documentation is so vast that I honestly got lost.

In real world this translates to a huge disparity of [01] compared to both [02] and [03], which in actual fact can lead to severe issues to both PtP and PtmP implementations like not being able to transmit properly back to the AP and conversely having a problematic link.

Also whatever happened to the 5.500-5.700Ghz spectrum that's actually being used in both the US AND EU for outdoor links?

I'd appreciate TP-Link's input on this.

Now serving finite customer via f(x)=AirTime/∞ on the 5Ghz band :-/

@RTouris

About the power output,I know nothing. But I guess it may be related to the hardware parameters.

As i know, CPE610 V1 has EU version and US version. EU version only supports band2 and band3( 5.500-5.700Ghz )

And US version only supports band1 and band4(5080~5180GHz and 5745~5825Ghz)

CPE610 V2 doesn't have EU version or US version. It only has UN version and supports the whole band in the test mode.
