Model: AC50
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

My Pharos Controller / Server can discover and add my CPE210, but the problem is i can't manage it remotely using pharos controller.
Is there something wrong on this configuration/topology?

Router -> EAP110-Outdoor -> CPE210

Router -> PharosController

EAP110-Outdoor
192.168.1.4
SSH/Port 22: Enable

CPE210
Mode: AP Client Router

Wan IP: 192.168.1.10
Lan IP / DHCP: 10.0.1.1

SSH/Port 22: Enable
Remote Manage: Enable

Router

IP: 192.168.1.1

PharosController
IP: 192.168.1.20

Let me know what should the best thing to do in this configuration.

@Heujenthro, works for me.

I can only guess since you omitted the most important information: what mode is the CPE running in? AP Client Router mode?

If so, you probably forgot to set the Remote IP address of the management laptop:

BTW: There is an own subforum here for questions about Pharos devices.

@R1D2 , Oh yeah. The CPE is AP Client Router mode.

What IP should i put under Web Server?

@Heujenthro, you need to set the IP of the system which you use to access the web UI. If you want to use more than one system for access, you need to use port forwarding on your router and insert the IP of the router. But be careful if the router is connected to the Internet. If this is the case, you should set up the firewall to limit access to the CPE.

@R1D2 , Only the Pharos controller/Server will access the CPE. So i should put the IP of the Pharos server?

Pharos server is 192.168.1.20
CPE210 is 192.168.1.10

@Heujenthro, no.

The Pharos controller just offers your browser a link, so it is the system where the browser is running which accesses the CPE.

Trust me, I have just tested this with my Pharos controller and a CPE set up exclusively for the test.

And BTW, regarding your other post: Omada controller and Pharos controller can't be integrated easily (different protocols, different designs).

@R1D2 , Okay. Got it.

I think, to make it easy i should do the standard or the recomended WISP setup and more organized network. :)

Regarding on the Pharos and Omada Integration, that could be done if each device has a micro API to centralized management server.

Both product lines have completely different use patterns. Device settings are different, though. R&D teams are different, protocols used for remote mgmt are different. If Pharos settings can be compared with something, then it is Auranet CAPs and AC50/500. Their web UI looks pretty similar to the one used in Pharos products.

Could you get Pharos remote mgmt working meanwhile?

@R1D2 , Well if that's the case then, i'll wait what comes for the future of TP-Link devices. :)

My point is, if i want to use all product of TP-Link for my WISP / WiFi infrastructure setup its hard for us to management each product line or product category.
But i believe that R&D team of tp-link can achieve this unified / centralized management of their devices to one server approach. I just hoping that this feature make possible and could bring us into a next level of tp-link infrastructure management.

Just for the record: I'm not speaking for TP-Link, I'm just a user as you are. But I saw no update for Pharos Control since years now.
