Model: TL-ER6020
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.0.2 Build 20180702 Rel.59031

Hi

I need to set up a site-to-site vpn between the TL-er6020 and a 1000C fortigate. Fortigate administrator sent me an IP 172.21.1.56 for use with transverse NAT. But I didn't find where to configure this on the TL-er6020. Can anybody help me ?

Best Regards

Alberto

NAT Transversal is the feature that designed to solve the problems inherent in using IPSec with NAT. As I know, TP-Link VPN router enable this feature by default. IPsec VPN need to set many parameters. You can refer to https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/2163/ . And 172.21.1.56 is not a public IP address. Maybe your router is behind a NAT. You need to open UDP 500 and UDP 4500 on the NAT device. And we should fill in the public IP address at remote gateway item.
