Hi

new to Omada technology and have a exterior 225 ap, if I get a second 225 exterior ap and connect via mesh can I use the Ethernet port on second ap to connect to Ethernet. I currently use two decos to do a similar thing but range is giving me an issue

any help much appreciated

@Fergin, sure, you can use the LAN port of the EAP225-Outdoor over a mesh link. The LAN port is bridged with the WiFi radio, so it shares the rest of the network.

Welcome @Fergin,

How far away are you thinking?  The EAP225-Outdoor has good range, but the EAP225V3 Indoor's range is less.

My 225-Outdoor is roughly 40 or 50 feet from my indoor 225 and works fine in the MESH configuration as you have described (though I've not tried to use it's ethernet port) but as R1D2 said, it should work fine.
