I have a Deco M4 Network. router+6 APs (5 wired, 2 wifi), few switches.. 300MB bandwith from 1 ISP - working perfectly

Just added a 2nd ISP (also 300mb) and bought a TL-ER5120 in order to have load balancing and backup if 1 ISP is down

What's the best way to add the ER5120 in order to have?

- load balance
- eventually add both bandwiths
- to have the network running even if 1 ISP is down
- keep the mesh wifi setup
 

Should I add the ER5120 as main router and all deco M4s as access points? would this keep MESH?

Should I add the ER5120 in bridge mode and keep one Deco M4 as main? (Is this possible to use the ER5120 in bridge mode while balancing loads and adding bandwiths?

Hi,

 

It is suggested to use the ER5120 as the main router, the setup could be ER5120 ----Deco M4 )))((( RE Deco1, 2, 3...

 

As for the Deco M4, you could keep one Deco M4 as main,  Ethernet Backhaul feature on Deco

or you could also set all of them as access points, which would also keep MESH.
