Model: TL-SG1024DE
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.0.1 Build 20180629 Rel.58591

I am working on the VLAN setup for my router and am stuck at IP address assignment. I have setup 3 VLANS with the following configurations (Ports 22,23 and 24 are set to PVID 300 as well). Everything is working exactly as it should, I have internet connectivity and all VLANs are isolated (not being able to access hosts across VLANs). I would like to assign a different IP range to each of the VLANS, VLAN 100 should use 192.168.1.xxx (DHCP is working for this VLAN by default, no issues). VLAN 200 to use 192.168.2.xxx and VLAN 300 to use 192.168.3.xxx. I am not concerened with DHCP on VLANS 200 and 300, I can set static IP's for those hosts. How do I go about setting the default gateway for VLANS 200 and 300? If I set them to 192.168.1.1 I lose internect connectivity and 192.168.1.2/3 do not exist. I am by no means a networking expert but I feel like im missing some really stupid little detail here but cant for the life of me figure it out.. Any help would be appreciated..

Dear @davem2021,

I am not concerened with DHCP on VLANS 200 and 300, I can set static IP's for those hosts. How do I go about setting the default gateway for VLANS 200 and 300? If I set them to 192.168.1.1 I lose internect connectivity and 192.168.1.2/3 do not exist.

I'm afraid that the TL-SG1024DE may not be able to meet your requirements as it's just an easy smart switch.

For your case, you may need a L2+/L3 switch which supports VLAN interface to make it.

Here is a FAQ for your reference. How to build up a multi-nets network via Multi-Nets NAT feature on TP-Link router with L2+/L3 switches

@davem2021

Got it, thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I will set the DHCP scope(s) up on theMikroTik router,

gateways will be set there too. VLANs are already set on the switch, if all goes well it should work as detailed..

Regards,

Dave
