OC200 USB memory
I plugged a USB stick into the USB port of my OC200 last night. If I understand things correctly, I can set it up to do backup configurations to a USB memory device.
The controller does not acknowledge that there is a USB stick plugged in there,
I tried rebooting it... nothing.
The stick is 32 GB/ FAT32 formatted.
I tried a second stick... no difference.
What am I doing wrong ?

Controller version is 4.2.8
Sent an email to technical support yesterday... no reply yet.
Has anyone actually gotten this feature to work ?

@MacRue POE, Of course.
If one was to power it through the USB port, there would be no place to plug in a USB stick.

The latest email that I got from TP-Link support is that my OC-200 must be defective. They are going to send me a replacement.
I really want this whole Omada system to work, as I can see the posibity of making a few bucks off of the product line installing it in local restaraunts when I retire in a few months. They are all spreading out seating due to COVID, moving outdoors, etc... and greatly exceeding the range capacity of their often single Wifi access point. This could make for an easy to deploy multiple access point installation if I can get it all working solid.
At home, I am trying to ultimately cover about 20 acres. I am probably doing 4 acres already.... waiting for the snow to go away before expanding the Wifi network some more. If I can cover 20 acres, I can do pretty much any restaraunt imaginable I think.
Last night I got a couple of their TP-R605 routers, so I will be trying to add one of those to the mix this weekend.

@rickk1000 I have the USB backup working with a 16G thumb drive. POE powered. First thumb drive I tried did not work. If you have not already try a diffent thumb drive.

@rickk1000 I was commenting that you would power it with micro USB from the back and there would still be a place to put the USB stick in the front. Although this point is moot as stated it won't backup if powered through USB and must be POE to backup to USB.
