EAP245v3 random high Tx Frames
Hi!
I've been having some issues with one of my EAP245v3.
One of them is installed on one side of the house, in channels 11 and 149. This ones is connected directly to the ISP modem/router. This one works fine
The other one is installed on the other side, where most of the bedrooms are, with channels 6 and 153. This one is also connected directly to the ISP modem/router and ETH2 port is connected to an unmanaged 5-port switch. This AP is the one that's causing me trouble.
Both AP are managed via an Omada Controller that is installed in a PC connected directly to the ISP modem/router.
Randomly, during the day, all the devices connected via WiFi to the bedrooms AP fail to load anything. They are still connected, but not loading anything. Checking in the controller, I can see a high Tx Frame usage in 2.4GHz, sometimes going over 90%, and sometimes around 75%. After a couple of minutes, it goes down to 10-12% total usage. It can happen very randomly when loading a website or doing something that requires an internet connection and can last for minutes at a time. Testing with ping, some packets go through with 60,000+ms of latency.
The channel selection is in auto, channel width is in 20/40 MHz. mode and Tx Power is in high. Both AP have the same SSID. There are around 10 clients connected to the bedrooms AP.
How can I solve this?
Thanks!
