I have two T2600G-28TS which I want to try and manage using an Omada Software Controller, so I can evaluate changing the rest of the current HP infra
with TP-Link. I set up the software controller on Ubuntu 18.04. The host is on a 192.168.0.0/16 network. However the default wired network created in the UI is 192.168.0.1/24 and there is no way to change it.
Even when creating a new site I am never asked what the network is. Is there something wrong in my scenario?

Dear @DrChanas,

I am planning to buy 50 TL-SG2008 and also APs from the EAP series which are supported as I can see,.Will I be able to manage those without a gateway?

Yes, you can manage any SDN-compatible device with Omada Controller. Omada Gateway is NOT a must.

@DrChanas

You can change the default LAN only if you have Omada SDN gateway also.

And, please note, that T2600G are not compatible with Omada SDN, as far as I know.

Best Regards

What @Emitplink wrote is correct. Just additional information for you.

The default LAN config would only issue to the Omada Gateway.

If there is no Omada Gateway, you can just ignore the default LAN config as it won't affect your existing Omada network.
