Model: EAP225
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 5.0.0

Hi all,

Does it make any sense to enable the site's MESH functionality when all access points (EAP225, EAP245 and EAP225-oudoor) are connected by wire to the LAN?

@Daniel_NL

No really no, its pretty much inactive unless you have a non cabled AP powered on and in range.

However, I did have a patch failed recently and was only made aware of this by one of the APs appearing as ready for adoption via Mesh.   Saved some time getting this back online until I could address the patch issue

I assumed so. Had read about it somewhere, just wanted to be sure. Regarding patches: I use the Omada controller, so the AP's are centrally managend. The controller notifies me of patches and disconnected EAP's. Thanks anyway!
