Model: CPE710
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 2.2.1 Build 20201208 Rel. 34943 (4341)

Hello,

I've recently installed a CPE710 with default settings, and everything seems to work properly. However, I cannot seem to exceed an bandwidth of 90mbps, when my internet provider provides 400mbps. To troubleshoot, I took the LAN cable that is going into the CPE710, and connected it to my computer - and my computer received the full 400mbps. I assume this means everything is "ok" from a hardware configuration standpoint. Then, when I plug it back into the CPE710, the max I receive is 90mbps at point blank range. I have two CPE710s and both get the same results. I assume this means the issue is software? What could be going on? Is there anything I should try?

@AyeSee

You have 400 full speed from the Ethernet cable. Meaning your port is 1 gig and the computer's 1 gig. CPE710 has a 1 gig port, too.

Here's the issue. If you test the wireless, you may get 90Mbps. I think you need to change the wireless bandwidth > channel width. Make it to 40MHz or 80Mhz. The default is on auto and looks like you are using 10/20Mhz. You should get higher speed results by doing so. laugh

@AyeSee

I had a similar problem previously, things get resolved after I replace my old DLink router with TPLink Archer AX73.

Anyway, just some sharing and good luck. :)

Hello, I just joined this forum and I apologize if you already found and fixed the issue.

I think it would help us help you if you posted more of the configuration settings you are using in your CPE710. In particular I would want to see these from the Status page:

Channel/Frequency

Channel Width

IEEE802.11 Mode

Max TX Rate

Antenna

Transmit Power

Distance

And when your 90 Mbps device is connected (I assume it is the only device connected and this problem is not because another device is drawing bandwidth) and using data, what are the following for the Connected Stations grid at the bottom of the Status page for that device?

Signal/Noise Ratio

CCQ

Negotiated Rate

Distance

Hi there! Thanks for the response. I was able to resolve the issue finally. I had a CAT6 cable that was not working properly finally. However, I fixes the settings as recommended, just to be sure. Thanks again.
