Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I've installed a switch that's connected directly to the router.

The user guide says I can access the web interface of the switch through 192.168.0.1.

However, my home network is under the subnet 192.168.1.*, and naturally 192.168.0.1 turns up nothing.

Is there a simple way to find the IP address to the switch?

@Newtonite If your switch is connected to a network with a DHCP server, I expect the switch should get an address from the DHCP server. You could perhaps look at your DHCP server's status page to find out the details of the switch IP address.

You probably have a router which does the DHCP server function, is that right? Can you log in to the router and look for a page that shows a list of DHCP clients?

@Newtonite

Dummy switch, plug and play.

Managed, they have a default IP 192.168.0.1. If the DHCP's on, will get an IP from the DHCP server. If not, static, you have to change that manually.
