DHCP for WAN does not automatically renew IP address
Region : Belgium
Model : TL-R470T+
Hardware Version : V2
Firmware Version : 5.1.2 Build 20130116 Rel.45577s
ISP :
The WAN1 port of my TL-R470T+ is connected to an ADSL modem. The ADSL modem is configured to provide DHCP, and the TL-R470T+ is correspondingly configured to use DHCP.
Initially, everything works fine. However, from time to time, the internet connection over WAN1 stops working.
When I check the status (Network>WAN>WAN1), the status is "disconnected". But when I press "Refresh", the connection is re-established without problems.
Why does the TL-R470T+ not automatically try to reconnect?
