Model: OC200
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have got a simple home network setup with oc200 controller, router, poe switch, EAP

Running about 8 wired connections plus the bunch of wifi devices

I don't know much at all about what sort of simple security features etc that the routers are capable of running and would be appropriate for a basic home network.

Looking for recommendations on what might be a typical setup or what is appropriate in certain situations

@tony.young4650

Create a WiFi for home use, if you have Apple products, make sure the security of the SSID is set to WPA-Personal. Then, go advanced settings of SSID > WPA mode> WPS2-PSK/WPA3-SAE.

You can leave rest of the settings on default. If you have multiple SSIDs, you can set up the Mesh and Fast Roaming.
