Hey!
I have an EAP679 Wifi AP, it is configured with Omada Controller based on Linux Version 5.4.

The controller runs on my PC, as soon as I shutdown the controller or my PC the Wifi seems to lose it's configuration. The SSID is not available anymore, therefore no connections possible.

I read, that certain services are not available when the controller is not online but Wifi should work. Right?

Hi,

Are you sure your settings are OK?
Did you have similar problems before upgrading the controller's firmware?

 

Did you apply the WiFi SSID to the EAP?
Is the SSID still visible after turning off the PC? Tried all clients?
If the clients can't connect to the SSID, what is the error message?
How did the EAP connect into your network?

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.
