DHCP on voice vlan or mac vlan
hello,
We have a scenario with PCs chained behind Yealink IP phones. the problem is that the IPphones on the VLAN2 (voice vlan with oui , or mac vlan) the PCs are on the management VLAN1. DHCP server of IPphones is on the port2 untagged vlanID 2, the IP phones are on tagged ports, the DHCP of VLAN1 is on a general port.
When the phone connected to the switch it step into VLAN2: Add entry (mac:80:5e:c0:88:b6:5b, vlan id:2, priority:7) for ports Gi1/0/3.
its OK, but the phine receive an IP from the DHCP server of VLAN1 ... I I use the Voice vlan config the service on the phone unavailable, if I use the mac vlan config , it still gets the IP from the management VLAN' DHCP but it at least works... I tried the DHCP vlan relay function, but same result. Any idea why it get ip from the management vlan even it is in vlan2 ?
