Model: CPE210
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

I have had My CPE210 installed successfully for a few years, but it suddenly stopped working, saying the AP password was not correct. I am trying to set up the CPE210 again but I can not log into the Pharos OS admin Page.

I get the following error

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to 192.168.0.254. Peer using unsupported version of security protocol.

Error code: SSL_ERROR_UNSUPPORTED_VERSION

I have the POE Adaptor connected to the CPE210 and also to my Mac.

I am running mac OS 12.6 and using Firefox 107.0.1

I have turned the firewall OFF

I have set the network setting to

192.168.0.10

255.255.255.0

I have also tried with Chrome and Chrome Canary, neither of which connect and give a similar error

On Safari I get through the initial security warnings to get this message

Web Server Error Report:

Server Error: 404 Not Found

File not found

/error.html

Please contact customer service

I have reset the CPE210 with the button on the button a few times and still, there is no change.

I have also pinged the CPE210 and got a response

Any ideas?

Thanks

  @Ondulado

It could be an issue caused by old firmware. I took a screenshot of firmeare release notes:

In short, today's web browser won't support CPE firmware older than 20190620. You have two solutions:

1. Find a web browser old version, like Windows PC IE8;

2. Replace this CPE to a newer model, like CPE710
