This makes sense to me and honestly, its expected condition

As you are not running a full Omada switch, the non managed switch and router will not pass its MAC / Client list to the controller, it literally doesnt care the controller is even there

The EAPs however, as they are managed by the controller will share this client info with the controller.  Therefore you will only see Wireless clients.

A Managed switch would likely be the answer for you..

So it is like I was afraid of, i need another device. I was expecting the OC200 just doing a network scan like the normal apps etc, but what you said seems logic. I was just wondering because i found  a lot of other threads where they described the same problem, but seem to have omada switches.

I tried to draw my current topology here:

Would you have a recommendation which device to put where? I would go the cheapest way as everything works right now but just is invisible. Fot me it would be logic do place it directly between Huawei and SG116E.

Guess it would be enough to have a ER605 or TL-SG2008P would do the job? Or change even more in the topology?

Ideally the more devices that pass through the managed switch, the better in your case.  Ideally as close the Huawei as possible would be the best option for this as it will see all device and record them as the traffic passes :)

The cheapest managed switch would be the TL-SG2008P at ~ 100 Euro

Yes you likely could go for an ER605 instead, however I have not tested it in this scenario without a managed switch..

Also you would then need to move your DHCP and Gateway to the ER605, if you have FTTP via an ONT this could be used to direct dial your internet and replace the Huawei

Thanks, i will give it a try with the Router, as it's also cheaper and maybe keeps me open more options with the WAN ports.

The current huawei router is a mobile cellphone network router, so no option to replace it.
