Hey

OK so the OC200 will be running a specific version of the controller software, the latest version is 5.7.6     Depending what version you are running will depend on the hardware it can support

To check what your version is, go to ADMIN  >  MAINTENANCE and it will show you the version at the top.

In short, to run an EAP110 v1 or v2   you need controller software 3.2.6, anything newer will no longer support these devices.

Look on the OC200 support portal for the following firmware and install it, should downgrade your OC200 to the correct version for support.

OC200(UN)_V1_1.2.6_20211230

Hope that helps!

  @Philbert

ok Philibert

this is my version actually of my controller

Version controller 5.7.6

Model OC200 1.0

Version Firmware 1.21.7 Build 20221206 Rel.58608

now i downgrade to: OC200(UN)_V1_1.2.6_20211230

It's correct?

okay
mna if I downgrade do I lose the other sites with the devices? And future devices can I always add them?
or do you recommend me to install omada software controller 3.2.6?
then I go into conflict with this controller?

Yes you can downgrade directly, you need to do this via the controller interface (log in via IP).

However it will affect all sites you have on this controller, so if you have sites that are running newer hardware I would recommend against doing this!   If its just this one site you need to fix, as you say a software controller or another seperate OC200 may be a better option for you overall.

In terms of future hardware, no you will be limited.  Most new hardware is designed for controller 5, controller 3 is really quite old now.     Personally, if at all possible the easiest may be to upgrade these APs to the newer versions, would save you a lot of hassle for little $$

  @Philbert

ok dear then i do it like this:
I keep the oc200 controller like this and I don't downgrade.
since I have a machine that I use only for connections I put omada controller software 3.2.14 and I use it only for those controllers that have version 3. I will use them from there. what do you think?
so I will have two omada controllers, one only software and the other hardware.
right? what do you think?

ok... i tried, but which ports should i open beyond 8043? also the 8088?
or is there something else?
also being the same public ip, how do I route the device to omada software and not to omada hardware?
because 29810,29811,29812,29813,29814 are already open towards Oc200. i made a rule in the routerboard but i don't know if it works. how can I do?
