Model: EAP245
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: EAP245(US)_V3_5.0.6 Build 20220429

Hi,

I have the EAP245 v3 and when using firmware EAP245(US)_V3_5.0.6 Build 20220429, I found that there are Rx Errors in 2.4GHz radio, and growing.  At times can disconnect my IoT devices and the only way to fix was a reboot.  I tried changing the wifi channels but it doesn't help.

After downgrading to EAP245(US)_V3_5.0.5 Build 20220216, the RX Errors is gone but there is a small growing number of Tx Errors in the 2.4GHz radio.  The Tx Error is currently not affecting any disconnects or problems, but will post an update if I see any difference.

This is only affecting the 2.4GHz radio and not the 5GHz radio.

Furthermore, I noticed in the newest firmware (EAP245(US)_V3_5.0.6 Build 20220429), the WMM box is missing.  Menu -> Wireless -> QoS.

Hope there will be a fix soon.

  @indothai

Yes there was a number of reports of the 2.4 Tx issue after the firmware upgrade, personally none of my sites have experienced it but others on the forums did mention it.

Believe TP Link are aware and there is a fix in the works, however that was 8months ago so ... frown

  @Hank21

Thanks but it's not as good as v5.0.5.  I found v5.0.5 more stable for me.
