Model: VIGI NVR1016H
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.2

Hi,

Just found a new version here  https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/vigi-nvr1016h/v1/#Firmware

VIGI NVR1016H(UN)_V1_1.0.0 Build 230116. Published Date: 2023-03-06.

I tried to update it via VIGI IOS app & directly from NVR, but it was showing V1_1.0.2 Build 221020 is the latest and it is up to date. So I decided to update Build 230116 manually by downloading it.

Update is successful and working perfectly. Now NVR & VIGI IOS app is showing new firmware notification with build number 221020. I suspect there is an issue with versioning number V1_1.0.0 & V1_1.0.2. Since V1_1.0.0 comes with latest build number and V1_1.0.2 comes with older build number. Still confused which is the latest version.

Hi @dubecell

We have removed Build 230116 from global website.

It's not about the issue.

Build 230116 is a localization firmware only for Japan users.

@Hank21 Actually I tried downgrading from VIGI NVR1016H(UN)_V1_1.0.0 Build 230116 to  VIGI NVR1016H(UN)_V1_1.0.2 Build 221020 the way you advised but failed & keep on getting the error even though I downloaded a fresh copy of it. Also I cannot install the beta version of firmware from dev team to check/fix the bug I reported.

Please refer the screenshot below.

EDIT : SOLVED Got a help from dev team and installed their beta version. Hope upcoming updates will be automatically done through online.

@Hank21 Yes I see now it is removed. How can I downgrade or revert to previous version of firmware?
