Hello community!

I got a strange problem by 2 of my customers with Omada + LACP

the one is using

TL-SG3452 v1.0 and TL-SG3452P v1.0 with LACP (2 Ports)

another one is using

TL-SG3428 v2.0 and TL-SG2428P v1.0 with LACP (3 Ports)

ISSUE:

customer nr 1 with 52er switches had the problem since ever

customer nr 2 with 24er switches since update switch/omada

When I reboot router, controller or one of the switches, or both, or everything - the network is down, until I disconnect cables, connected to LACP ports, but one.

After only ONE cable is connected, network starts working again.

Router is reachable over the internet - so the issue is between the 2 switches. After consulting german tp-link technician pro, we checked, if the ports have the loop detection BEFORE I activate LACP. But the issue still exists.

funny but true: static LAG is working without issue.

can someone help please?

thank you

Regards

Alex

Hello @kogan,

May I know the firmware version of your switches and controller?

Is your router an Omada Gateway? What is the hardware and firmware version of it?

If you can show your network layout/topology, it will be more helpful.
