I have been using TP-Link for about a year and a half and the 2.4GHz has never worked properly. I need 2.4GHz at my pool because it is the only thing that works with my control device. I have a AX3000 for a router, than a OC200 controlling mesh devices. I have 6 EAP225-Outdoors and two EAP225 Indoor units. In addition I am also running a pair of N300s to a an outbuilding (EAP225 were not strong enough). All of this works fantastic except for the 2.4GHz signel. I have literally spend hours and hours working on this and it never works properly. I have done everything recommended by TP-Link (you don't want me to list everything, it would be a book).

My question is should I do a dedicated point to point? I understand that TP-Link has a 2.4GHz dedicated N300 that can be used as a point to point? Has anyone ever tried this and sucessfully gotten 2.4GHz signel? I am tempted to go with another brand because my TP-Link equipment has never done well with 2.4GHz. Anyone had success with the N300 and can I isolate it from my OC200?

  @Draftdude

If you use CPEs to set the ptp transmission, and yes, it is isolated from the controller.

Cuz the Pharos system is totally different from the Omada.
