Model: EAP670
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: latest

Setup new EAP670 in standalone mode, and was getting 450 Mbps download via 5GHz channel on a 1G WAN.

I then decided to try the Omada controller software, and adopted the EAP

I can now only get to 50 Mbps download.

I turned down the gain on the 2.4Ghz channel, but no luck.

Anyone have suggestions?

Is the fact the settings are now controlled by the controller causing that much of a difference?

I am using a Synology router that is not part of the Controller.  I have a 605 v2 coming tomorrow, wondering if that will make a difference overall when it is adopted as the router?

  @mprattmd

Try using the short cable to test, the quality and the length of the cable are very critical.

And using the IPerf3 to test the speed is more clear.

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.

  @mprattmd Just to troubleshoot, check in the Omada Controller Software and see if MESH is enabled. Disable it and see if throughput picks back up.
