Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.1.4

Hi everybody.

I've recently upgraded my ER605 router to beta firmware 2.1.4 to get to function IPv6 ACLs. Everything is working as expected and IPv6 traffic from WAN is being blocked after creating a rule.

What I'm trying to do now is to assign an IPv6 ULA prefix to my LAN so I can assign static IPv6 addresses, as my ISP (Starlink) only provides dynamic IPv6 prefixes. Right now, I've configured the LAN with an ULA prefix fd00:1::/64, to do this I had to bypass the browser validation control because there seems to be a bug in the controller's interface (OC200, beta firmware 5.12.8) which doesn't allow to set any ULA prefix, but doing the bypass the configuration can be set properly and works.

After that, all my devices in the LAN get an address in fd00:1::/64 and can communicate between themselves. However, none of the devices in the LAN have IPv6 connectivity to the Internet.

I've tried to configure an ACL rule to permit IPv6 traffic to flow from LAN (fd00:1::/64) to WAN (any destination), but this isn't enough as I can't define a routing policy to allow traffic go that way. As of now, there are only IPv4 routing options under Settings > Transmission > Routing.

If I set up my LAN via SLAAC with the /56 dynamic prefix Starlink provides, devices get an address in the assigned range and can go to the Internet over IPv6.

Are IPv6 static routes and policy routing planned to be supported in a future firmware soon? I think this is an important feature that must be present in this kind of router and I'm aware some Omada switches already support this function.
