Factory Reset TL-SG3428
Hi,
I have a problem with my switch. It's not reachable due to a dump configuration. How do I reset it to factory settings?
I tried to connect it via USB, but the USB drivers are not working. After Installation it still shows "unknown device" in the device manager.
BR
Sebastian

Found out that the link in the article refered to an old version of the driver (https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/273206)
On the support page there is the new one which is working fine:

Hi @SebastianH
Thanks for posting in our business forum.
You can refer to this link to reset your switch via the console connection.
Do remember to use the dedicated USB cable which is capable of data transfer. Do not use a 3-in-1 USB cable.

Hi @Clive_A and thank you for your reply.
I used a "normal" Micro USB-Cable which I use to connect my phone and camera to my computer.
I can see the switch device on my computer, but the driver is not accepted. After installation nothing happens and even if I try to assign the driver *.inf manually its not accepted.

After the installation, you don't have to do anything. Follow the instructions in the article I sent you. Use tools to enter the console.
I don't think there should be a problem. If you have trouble, show the config parameters you use for entering the console.

Hi. The problem is not the connection to the switch, but the driver for the virtual COM port...
