Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 5.1.0

I'm trying to setup a mesh between an EAP225 (EU, v4.0, firmware 5.1.0) and an EAP225-Outdoor (EU, v1.0, firmware 5.1.0). When testing everything, this just worked without problems.

Then I found the "Channel Limit" option that (to my understanding) disables some channels to make the APs adhere to local regulations here in the EU and enabled it.

From that moment, meshing stopped to work (reliably): when I remove the uplink from the EAP225-Outdoor, it no longer meshes but either remains disconnected of the adoption fails.

To make meshing work again, I disable "Channel Limit", connect the EAP225-Outdoor (so that it get's the config change) and then disconnect it again: it meshes as expected.

Is this a known issue, that enabling "Channel Limit" breaks meshing? Is there anything I can do about this?

  @nafur

if you enable channel limit EAP225-Outdoor switch to ch 100 +, and your EAP225 is problably on a lower channel then connection is not posible.

you have to set channel manual to 100 or higer on root ap. then your oudoor device will connect.
