Model: ER7206 (TL-ER7206)
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.3

I have a query.

We have a bunch of these ER7206's at different sites, they are all failing to upgrade from 1.2.3 to 1.3.0.  They won't do a scheduled auto update and even a manual one fails.

Does TP Link Support or anyone else have any idea's on this?  We ultimately do not wish to visit each site to have to reset them to then do an upgrade etc.  Some of the businesses are 24/7 so as little downtime as possible is best.

Anyone else had this problem with this model?

Just says failed no reason, I believe it's just a cloud controller.

Ok, if you look at message ther is some more information, but one of the resaon is that device itself not have access to management port on the controller.

this is deafult TCP/443 on hardware controller and TCP/8043 on software  controller.

  @MR.S Well the Cloud Controller is on 8043/8088 and or 8843/8088.  I am wondering however about the Device Management unticked at the bottom?  Would this help with it if it's doing a firmware upgrade?....  Maybe it just doesn't know where the controller is after.  I also have a TL-SG2428P v5.0 switch onsite same deal with that too.

  @MrHC1983

OK, you must ensure that the devices to be upgraded have access to the https management port on the controller, it is the management port that is used for upgrading.

In your case tcp/8043

? It's a cloud controller so I presume so. I am signed in on 8043 under https by default myself.
