Model: VIGI C340
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

Hello

I am trying to setup a new NVR Vigi solution and was going well until camera 3.   The first two cameras connected to the system perfectly and came online without issue, however camera 3 is showing as NOT CERTIFIED and asking for a password

As this is a new device I dont know what the default password is and the others did not ask for it.

Any way to get around this error?   The support site mentions to reset via scanning a QR code and it will email you a password, as this is a new device it shouldnt have a password on it surely?  Currently the camera is mounted in position so was hoping to avoid climbing up to scan any barcodes.

Anyone any advice

Hi @HoutScaff

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

1. Is the box sealed with the plastic? Products like EAP and cameras should be sealed with plastic. I am not sure if your model is a returned one from other people. This is not our fault. You should contact your retailer for a brand new one instead of the used one which may be bound to the TP-Link ID.

2. If it asks for the password, you should use the admin which is the default password for all products we have.

You probably should remove it from the ceiling and verify you can bind it before installing it.

For the reset, you should contact the support. Might be the live support since the QR code might change if you close the reset window.
