Issues with connecting WiFi Cameras to NVR 1008H
I have been trying to add my CP Plus wifi cameras to this NVR. The problem is that I can add them manually (not auto discovered) but once they are added to this NVR, the status shows Not Connected.
The cameras support ONVIF and they are working in EzyKam+ application and also on Happytime Onvif Client but they are simply not displaying any video when i connect them to this NVR. I have allocated static IPs to all the cameras.
I tried to ping all the cameras from NVR and they are pinging without any packet loss. Vigi Security Manager shows that the cameras are offline. NVRs and all the cameras are on the same network yet its now working.
Please assist to resolve this issue.

Hi @jhally87
Thanks for posting in our business forum.
Are they connected to the same LAN?
"Not connected" has been given a pretty clear definition in the User Guide.
Have you checked the ONVIF on the cameras? Is it toggled as enabled?

@Clive_A Hello Clive.. Yes the ONVIF is enabled on all the cameras and all the cameras are connected to the main router (not extender).
The cameras are working with another application but not with NVR. They are always showing as Not Connected in NVR.

Hi @jhally87
Thanks for posting in our business forum.
Can you try a different decoding? It seems that it cannot pull the stream. It is the decoding or the stream is full and IPC does not push the stream to the NVR.
Or Possibly not supporting H265+ on your camera? Try 264

@Clive_A
Thanks for response.
you mean this need to change from camera setting?
for your information we are using cp plus camera and don't have any option to change the video resolution.
Also please confirm HDD is mandatory for streaming or not, because I have not installed any hdd.
Please let me know what setting can change from TP link nvr side for changing h265+ to h264.

If it is not VIGI cameras, change the settings from your camera GUI.

@Clive_A unfortunately nothing worked out for me. None of my 8 wifi cameras were able to stream through this NVR.

Unfortunate to know this.
I think it could be a problem with the compatibility between the NVR and the cameras. Our NVR can work with some cameras but we don't have a list of compatibility to test all the IPC on the markets as there are many new products and vendors every day.
And our initial intention for the VIGI NVR is to work with the VIGI IPC. Not really consider other cameras as the top choice.
From what we know is that the the NVR should support ONVIF third-party cameras. They should be listed on the NVR and you can manually add them. This is something we know because we have many successful cases.
Since this is a single case we know, I would assume it might be a problem on your network/camera.
If you need to re-discuss this issue with me, please provide a detailed diagram, camera model and firmware version. Keep the NVR up-to-date.
If possible, you can use a video to show the "add" process.

@Clive_A i have CP-E35A and CP-V31A cameras (4 cameras of each model). None of them were showing any video. All 8 cameras show the same result: No Network Video.
Current Hardware Version: VIGI NVR1008H(UN)2.0
Current Firmware Version: 1.1.0 Build 240507 Rel.77345n
Add Process:
Right Click -> Add Camera -> Add Manually -> Enter IP Address of Camera -> Control Protocol is ONVIF -> Transfer Protocol is TCP Protocol -> Management Port is 443 -> Username is admin and Password is password -> Add
Connection Status remains Not Connected but i am able to ping my camera through NVR.
I am now under the impression that either NVR does not support my camera models or there is some problem with NVR itself.
