Model: ER7206 (TL-ER7206)
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

When using Mac filtering (groups) in combination with Wifi, I face an issue when I use the space " " in the description for MAC. So exporting, and importing under a different name (as MAC Group filter) resolved the issue.

It seems that spaces are not really welcomed to be used in description.

For example if export was

<some MAC address> Wifi Test

Import will do only:

<some MAC address> Wifi

After that import, my comp could connect to Wifi.

  @AntonV

What is the firmware version of your controller and ER7206? Can you share a screenshot to show your issue?

  @Virgo The firmware version is 4.0.5 Build 20230602 Rel.73473 I used that since the "regular" latest is not having vlan option for wan.

hardware is v 4.0.

So create a mac with name that contains space. Export, and try to import. Anything beyond the first space is not imported.

ER7206 only has V1 and V2, the V4 4.0.5 is which device firmware? Can you check it again?
