Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.3

Hi!

I'm currently trying to connect an EAP225-Outdoor Access point (v3 and firmware 5.1.1) to an EAP615-Wall (v1 and firmware 1.2.3) Access point via Omadas MESH feature.

Unfortunately I can't get it working. After I hit ADOPT on the devices page the following occurs:

The status from EAP225 changes to:

Is Adopted, then: Deployment, then: Configured.

The Configured status lasts for about 5 or 6 minutes. Then it changes to: connection interrupted

Don't know what to do now. Cannot get mesh working.

My hope is that someone here has a good idea how I could get it to work

Thanks in advance.

Patrick

Worked fine for me, don't forget to apply the WLAN profile after it's adopted and connected:

Performance via the 225 meshed to 615 (about 1m distance...so not 'real world'...but indicative that the system can perform well)

Thanks. that was a great help to me in narrowing down the problem.

With your help I was able to find out the reason why mesh did not work on my setup.

I live in Europe and had channel limitation activated for the 5GHz network. Without channel limitation it's working great.

Thank you very much again for sacrificing your time to carry out this test. It was important to know that the connection between the two devices basically is working.
