Oc200 and Cisco switch’s
Hi All
have been using Cisco switches with a single AP on a lot of our business networks so never needed the Mesh feature or controller. However in my home network I built it using the controller and has the following
By home hub
oc200
3 x EAP225
2 x EAP235 wall mount
1 x EAP225 outdoor
1 x Cisco switch single vlan
however now looking to expand and configure my network with multiple vlans due to network devices being added for automation cctv distribution
Thinking of the following devices
primary Cisco switch 10port (switch under stairs with fibre link and by hub)
28port in the office
10port in loft 1
10port in loft 2
10port in cabin fed from mesh eap
vlans
vlan10 ip range 192.168.1.1-254
vlan11 ip range 192.168.10.1-254 CCTV / ACCESS
vlan12 ip range 192.168.11.1-254 DANTE
vlan13 ip range 192.168.12.1-254 AVOIP
vlan14 ip range 192.168.13.1-254 home automation
all devices will be either static configured or Static assigned via MAC address either on the switch or via controller "controller preferably" With DHCP from oc200 on vlan 10 nothing else
internet routing on vlan 10,11,14
looking for a bit of advice on how to build my home network to utilise the Omada controller and mesh features rather than starting again I'm happy to wipe all settings and start with a clean slate
also not against swapping the BT home hub and the fibre interface to something tplink if it's going to make progressing simpler than retaining
