Model: ER7212PC
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.2 Build 20240102 Rel.50640

I have an ER7212PC 1.0 router. With the omada controller settings/capacity only 2/2 gateways are possible! also switch! I used four gatewas and pages with the oc200 controller! What's different about this router!

This is an entry level router with everything built in. it is strange that you can have two routers connected to this, to compare with unifi only has one router on its consoles. the smallest model also only has 4 devices that can be connected so TP-Link is better.
If you want more sites and more devices, you should rather buy pure routers and use an Omada Controller.

Hi @mani1904

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

This is a very basic router with Omada controller built-in. With this price, you have integrated router, Omada controller and PoE ports. Its hardware specs were divided for the running of Omada controller.

If you are not happy with its capacity and performance in playing a role of Omada controller, I would recommend you go for the hardware Omada Controller.

Or you can get a computer to run it as well.
