ER7206 v2, Multiple external IPs set up on WAN alias. VPNs wont connect to any except the WAN IP
Hi
I have 5 external static IP addresses for my connection, and these are set up correctly on the router so that my main WAN ip of the router is the first, then the 2nd to 5th are added as "WAN IP Alias" in the WAN connection settings page and properly enabled.
I cannot get a VPN to connect to the router on any of the alias IPs, but they will connect to the main WAN IP of the router just fine.
Is it possible to configure so that VPNs can connect to an alias IP ?
eg...
(not the real IPs, just an example)
IP Pool from ISP
10.0.0.1
10.0.0.2
10.0.0.3
10.0.0.4
10.0.0.5
WAN connection of router - 10.0.0.1
WAN Alias set - 10.0.0.2 - 5
VPNs targeting ip 10.0.0.1 - Work
VPNs targeting ip 10.0.0.2 - Dont work
EDIT:
The router itself is the VPN server

Hi @GRL
Thanks for posting in our business forum.
If the VPN server setup does not contain the WAN alias as the interface, then you cannot use them.
