I did saw the url that suggested to change the mac address. Will it work on my settings ?

I can't really change the ip as most of our system connected using the ip.

MAC address usually does not matter. Because it is their servers have recorded and marked your IP as a thread and you should stop visiting their websites rapidly in a short time.

If this persists after a day, you might need to contact your ISP to change the IP as it seems to be the IP is blocked for a short term.

Note that every website, or network provider, e.g. from Netflix to Cloudflare, maintains a list of IP addresses that are marked as shared by many people(because of VPN), or potentially dangerous, so, if you request so rapidly in a short time, triggering the DDOS defense, that might put your IP into the blocklist. You have to contact their support to appeal for that.

Like written previously, there is nothing we can do or the router can do to make amends for this.

Hi @AmirulRahman

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

This has nothing to do with the router.

You probably want to avoid repeat requests to the MS and office domains.

Looks like your repeated requests triggered their DDOS defense. I think ISP cannot fix it either unless you change your IP address because your IP address has been marked in the MS web system.

 @AmirulRahman

To resolve the issue of certain websites being blocked on your TP-Link ER605 (TL-R605) router, follow these steps:

 1. DNS Settings: Since changing the DNS to 1.1.1.1 resolved the issue for the TP-Link forum but not for other sites, try using Google's DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) as an alternative. Sometimes different DNS providers may resolve websites differently.

 2. Clear Cache: Clear the DNS cache on your computer. Open Command Prompt as an administrator and run the following commands:

ipconfig /flushdns

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew

 1. Check Firewall/Filters: Double-check the firewall settings and content filters on your router. Even if nothing appears to be blocked, try disabling any content filtering or firewall rules temporarily to see if this resolves the issue.

 2. Firmware Update: Ensure that your router’s firmware is up to date. Sometimes, firmware bugs can cause such issues. Check for updates on the TP-Link website and update if necessary.

 3. Factory Reset: If the problem persists, consider backing up your settings and performing a factory reset on the router. This will restore the router to default settings, which might resolve any misconfigurations.

 4. Alternative Test: If possible, test the same website from another device or network to confirm if the issue is indeed with the router. You mentioned the mobile hotspot worked, which suggests the issue is isolated to your router or network setup.

If none of these steps work, consider contacting TP-Link support for more in-depth troubleshooting.

Thanks

Regards
David
