I have an existing TPLink Omada in the hotel with this current setup.

I purchased ER7206 v1 (1.2.3 Build 20221104) to provide more IP addresses for the client. Before I connected to the network, I updated the firmware, changed the password, and changed the IP to 172.16.0.1/22 I checked it and it works. I didn't see any problems; all the devices adopted the new ip address, and OC300 was online,

 

But when I adopted it to the controller, it said adopting, provisioning, and after a minute, it said TIMEOUT. I troubleshooted the problem and i found out that ER7206 is not providing an internet connection, (i connected my laptop to ER7206 port 5). I try to restart everything, but still the problem exists.

 

I also try ER7206 in default mode still not work

Hi @jcdiaz 

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

Figure out your subnet thing before you move on to the adoption.

Since you are using this large network, I believe you are aware that the adoption will erase the settings and you need to make sure the LAN settings are the same as the previous network.

You should also reboot the switch if your subnet is not the same as the old one.

 

For me, with this information, I would assume it is your misconfig on your subnet.
