Hi,

I have this network here which uses a Starlink router as the gateway, I want to add an ER605 and use the Starlink router in bypass mode, as there is very little configuration available. I'd like to ask if I can connect a switch to the WAN port of the ER605, and then have the SL router and another EAP225 on the switch. Will that work or can the WAN port only be for the gateway modem? I would like to have the router as the centre of the network rather than a central switch, but I don't want to run more cables to the outbuilding in the diagram. I've shown the current network, what I would prefer to do, and what I probably will have to do below. Any thoughts appreciated, thanks.

  @P675

The latter, ie ER605 in the outbuilding.

You can save some $ by just using the included POE injector for the outbuilding 225-outdoor instead of a whole POE switch

I would recommend for maximum functionality that the main building switch that connects to the ER605 be Omada capable, ie SG2008(P) or better SG2210P
