Model: LS1008G
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version:

Hello,

I just got my TP-Link unmanaged switch LS1008G from a local store to replace my existing two switchs that have limited port number.

After plugin the switch to my router all my devices has access to my local network.

Expect virtual machines using proxmox node bridge connection with which get an IP address from the home router then it takes arround 2 seconds then the switch drop my vm connection.

when i change the virtual machine mac address the vm has the same issue of getting ip address then drop connection after 2 seconds.

For the record i didn't have this issue with my old switch.

Could you please tell me if there's any fix/Switch update to fix that issue ?

Best regards,

Hi @tp-switch-user

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

This is an unmanaged switch and plug-and-play. There is no config page for it.

You should examine if your cabling and avoid a loop connection if there is any.

To fix that issue i added back my old switch between my home router and the new unmanaged switch. For some reason the switch block trafic in and out from the host bridge interface.
