Hello Everyone,

We connected and configured a CPE510 (Hardware ver=3.20) outdoor device for providing wireless access in garden area from a building.

So, we configured it in "access Point" mode. So any wireless device in gardena area can get the coverage and can connect to it.

Check the topology below:

 

 

When we connect to Wifi of CPE510, we got the IP address from DHCP(from ISP Router) and test the ping to router (192.168.0.80) and switch (192.168.0.85), we got the reply for 5-10 minutes  but after sometime, we started receiving "Request timeout". We again tried by restarting device, again same thing happened.

 

Then, we implemented another design, kindly check the topology below:

 

 

In this scenario, we got continuous connectivity in ping request to our ISP router (0.80) and switch (192.168.0.85).

This time, we changed the main power source to different one. PoE injector and CPE510 device are same.

 

So what could be cause of the issue in first scenario?

Hi  @sagar002100 

 

 

Did you check the cable plugged into the LAN port of the POE injector?

You may also remove the unmanaged switch to have a test.

Yes. I did it. Its fiber link between 2 switches and at both the end we have 1000mbps media converter.

 

We tried to change CAT6 patch cord (which is plugged between media converter & switch). But issue remains the same.
