  @Vincent-TP

I get a notification that there is a new version, but it is the same version that is already installed. If I try to upgrade, the choice is repair or uninstall.

I'm receiving the same notification starting today as well: "Controller 5.15.6.4 Build 20241016221424 is available."

upgraded Ubuntu Controller... no issues so far!

Crazy part is... I updated my home Ubuntu Controller and it took me a couple of days to get it up and running.  By chance I had on it 18, upgraded it to 22, and seemed to work.

Out of pure laziness I left it on ubuntu 18.

My work controller was is on 22, and it was flawless.

I had to disconnect and reconnect the cloud access and it came back up.

Upgrade completed without error from v5.13.30.7. The new UI is nice, like the new color palette. The big issue is that Cloud Access is broken, as a number of people have already mentioned. Hovering over the slider, clicking it doesn't do anything as the slider is "grayed out" as inactive. Any known workarounds?

EDIT: This isn't a workaround, but I migrated my Omada Controller and Site to a brand new Windows 11 server, which got the Cloud functionality working again.

Had to reboot the Win 11 system (to install some Win updates) running the controller software and ran into the Cloud issue again...red circle w/line through it appears and the option to disable/enable Cloud connectivity is grayed out. Cloud connectivity seems buggy/broken in this release.

  @Vincent-TP new interface is looking good, there are so many features added.

as promised in previous threads, anti tethering will be available in v5.15, where is this option located?

  @Vincent-TP

Overall i like the new design, but what i dont like is the new Setting menu - a lot of mouse moving and searching for things in lists, compared to the current easy to navigate side bar.

Just my opinion.

  @Vincent-TP Cloud access is stuck on "disconnected" now and cannot be disabled/re-enabled - I get a red circle when I hover over the slider. I have rebooted and tried to click numerous times and nothing changes. Otherwise it seems to work fine.

  @OrangeStreet Seeing the exact same issue...Windows 11 Omada controller. No matter what I do, I cannot get Cloud connectivity working. I've tried looking through the config files within the Omada installation directory but can't find anything in there that correlates with that Cloud setting.

Also, are you using a TP-Link Omada Router/Gateway? I'm not, I use an OPNsense router...my switches/EAP's are all TP-Link Omada devices.

The slider-button is entirely deactivated and cannot be altered from any web browser that I've tried (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, etc.).
