Hi folks hope you can help.

On Friday, possibley due to bad weather, our service went down. I was able to restart but most folks couldn't access the internet and the controller was showing as offline on our cloud portal.

Some PC's did have access, those whose DNS was explicily set to Manual 1.1.1.1 were gaining access. Those set to Auto DNS coudl not. As a work-around I manually set the DNS, but I obviously can't do this long term.

I can remote into a local PC and access the Controller locally, Cloud Access is On but it is showing as Disconnected. My ISP are saying that there is nothing weird at their end and can remote in to their router.

Any suggestions as to why this us happening?

Cheers

Paul

Hi  @Paul_FM

Is your gateway router TP-Link?

You may change the DNS server for the router:

Thanks for the respones

The Gateway CISCO is provided by the ISP. This is connected to a TP-Link router (for DHCP) which I've aready set the DNS to 1.1.1.1 & 1.0.0.1

  @Paul_FM

Further to my investigations, when I run traceroute from the Controller to google.com I get a BAD ADDRESS error. But traceroute to an IP address works.
