Hello everyone 

I have two internet feeds coming in, one primary att fiber , and one secondary cable Internet from Xfinity 

The att box is a router itself and when it loses Internet service it self routes all traffic back to it's self to display a configuration page when it's unable to reach out to the web. This generates a situation where the ER7206 router fails to see this as an outage and doesn't swap to the backup Internet. 

The only way to get it to function correctly is to remove the att box from the 7206 router (power off or remove the Ethernet) so that it no longer sees it, only then will it actually swap as designed. 

As you can imagine, this is less than ideal , and I'm not sure how to remedy this.
