Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I am trying to pass HTTP and HTTPS through the WAN to one of my internal servers. The wan port pings correctly from outside (after unchecking the disable ping from wan), and the router pings the inside server with no problems. I have setup both through NAT to take 443 and 80 through to the internal server, but I when I try http(or s)://outside.wan.address I get a cannot connect.

Anybody know what I am doing wrong? Is the management function conflicting with my passthrough?

Hi @Primotex

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

To port forward the 80 or 443, you need to free the router from the two ports.

Standalone mode, you change the HTTPS and HTTP port to a different one. Then you can port forward it.

Controller mode cannot bypass that as the router keeps using the 80 and 443. You cannot change the router's.
