Region : Australia

Model : TL-R470T+

Hardware Version : V2

Firmware Version : 5.1.2 Build 20130116 Rel.45577s

ISP : FIBERTEL - Dynamic IP

I know this will be simple for someone, but i would appreciate some help with it...

I have the PPPoE in WAN1 and Dynamic IP in WAN2. The PPPoE goes online no problem. It is connected.

In WAN2 It connects for a few seconds

- "WAN2:DHCP getting IP succeeded, and IP addr:192.168.0.3, mask:255.255.255.0, gateway:192.168.0.1."

but then seconds later this is what happens:

2014-04-01 10:38:38 <5> : WAN2:DHCP lease timeout, beging a new one.
2014-04-01 10:38:46 <5> : WAN2:DHCP renew fail, begin a new discovery.
2014-04-01 10:39:01 <5> : WAN2:DHCP send DHCP-DISCOVERY timeout.

and so it continues for ever...

Thoughts please?

Hi KasperGhost1975

Try accessing the FiberTel directly using a laptop or a desktop computer. If there are no problems,
use the same computer and connect this to the load balancer, then perform a MAC clone feature
on WAN2 (FiberTel).

This process will copy the computer's MAC address to the load balancer so the FiberTel modem (or modem router)
will still think your computer is still connected to it.

Good luck, hope this works.
