Hi,

I have problems with setting up link with 2 units. I'm extending my wifi between 2 buildings with line of sight.

Problems: Either clients can't get internet connection or access from outside is not working depending on the operation mode.
I have same SSID, wpa2 keys and all in the link itself is working; both TL-WA7210N units sees each others and connect ok.

I'm confused:
-should I set the ADSL side of TL-WA7210N to be AP or Router ?
-should the secondary TL-WA7210N unit in secondary building be client, repeater or bridge?
Both TL-WA7210N units are only talking only to each other, no one else.
In secondary building I have indoor wifi AP connected with LAN cable to TL-WA7210N.

Here is my setup:

-----PRIMARY HOUSE--------

1. ADSL router ZyXEL P-660HN-T1A
-DHCP server enabled 192.168.0.6-192.168.0.200
-Static IP 192.168.0.254

And for external mainteinance I've set:
-NAT port 8001 pointing to primary TL-WA7210N IP 192.168.0.1
-NAT port 8002 pointing to secondary TL-WA7210N IP 192.168.0.2
-NAT port 8003 pointing to secondary indoor wlan AP IP 192.168.0.3

2. TL-WA7210N (outside) Connected to ADSL router via LAN cable.
-DHCP server disabled
-Static IP 192.168.0.1
-Gateway set to 192.168.0.254
-Working in Access point mode

----SECONDARY HOUSE------

3. TL-WA7210N (outside) connected to indoor wifi AP with LAN cable
-DHCP server disabled
-Static IP 192.168.0.2
-Gateway set to 192.168.0.1
-Client, Bridge or repeater?

4. Linksys WP-54G running DD-WRT
-Set as Access point
-DHCP disabled
-Static IP 192.168.0.3
-Gateway set to 192.168.0.254

What happens sometime (in client mode of secondary TL-WA7210N) is that clients can connect ok, but the gateway is pointing to 192.168.0.3, even when it's set to 192.168.0.254 in Linksys. Iphones connects ok and get proper gateway, but windows laptops gets this problem. So it seems that the DHCP or routing is somehow wrong.

Please advice, I'm novice with this. What's the proper way to configure both TL-WA7210N units, as the manual is very confusing?

Thank you in advance, Mcm
